Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will get a new jersey with a new number on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, a Jets spokesperson told NJ Advance Media.
The Jets have worn No. 11 on their jerseys since 2013.
This jersey will be the team’s most-worn number since 2013 when Fitzpatrick was wearing No. 6, the Jets said.
The Jets announced in July that Fitzpatrick would get a second jersey.
He wore No. 12 in the 2016 season opener against the San Francisco 49ers and wore No 7 this year in the first preseason game.
Fitzpatrick will wear No. 7 on Sunday, joining the rest of the team.
He had a season-high 23 carries for 87 yards and one touchdown against the Patriots in Week 2.
The team has lost seven straight regular-season games dating to Jan. 8.
